Migidoll Shion

Shion was released in December 2010, and according to Migi, "Shion was made by inspiration on the main character "Shion" in the Japanese manga "Boku no Chikyu wo mamotte". He has emotional scars. He is cheeky and cynical, sometimes simple but passionate. I simply fell for his character, and then suddenly changed design direction of the head I was making at that time. It does not really look like Shion in the manga, but hope you like." [1]

Shion is a 1/3 (similar to Volks SD) sized male doll sculpted by Migidoll and can be bought as either a full doll or a head. He belongs to the M style line and is one of only two dolls that was sculpted with the faceplate system instead of a headcap.

On March 2015, to commemorate the re-release of Shion with a headcap instead of a faceplate, he's released as "Adventurer Shion", available in the new normal and new white resin, and also in the new suntan colour (this last is only offered for this order period, limited to 10 as a full doll either with the BNB 16 body or the M-Style Guy body [2]). Options for "Adventurer Shion" include the faceup by Nornen, Enchanteddoll Eyes, Mohair wig, and Adventurer clothes by Tplant.

Eye and wig size

  • Eye Size: 14-16mm
  • Wig Size: 8-9inch

Other information

For newer Migidolls, they come with guarantee cards as well as a identifying number (or serial number). This number is written on the guarantee card, as well as on a long thin strip of sticker pasted inside the head. Early versions of Shion with the faceplate have "MD Shion" carved on the inside of their headcap.

Since the re-release on March 2015, Shion now has the Migidoll logo with the head name sculpted into the headcap.
