Aidan was born in the lab to the scientist, Miriam Gillespie. Named Aidan at birth, and Bred from the blood and DNA of a collection of non-humans Miriam had been working with, Aidan and his twin Aeslin have the blood of one of Seraphim's sons and a demon who had been trapped briefly. During the night Roslynn McAndrews shut down the system to allow the escape of several non-humans, Aidan made his own escape, running away from his abusive mother. Only ten at the time, he would meet and fall in with a band of mercenaries who would raise and teach him to survive in a world that hated and despised anyone not thought to be... Normal. During this time he would be known as Numair.

As he neared his adulthood, Aidan would leave the band of mercenaries taking the lady Roslynn with him. His self appointed mission is to protect her as she defies her father and seeks to help the non-humans of the world find justice. He has since been reunited with his twin brother, Aeslin, and struggles to find happiness and balance in his life. He is quiet and distant much of the time, as he often finds himself thinking of and missing his brothers in the mercenary band of old.
