Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     I’ve wanted a BJD for so long, and when I saw a Resinsoul doll in stock on their website while browsing, I was like “wait I actually have the money for this” and snatched her up right away!
    Best Points:
    Super cute face sculpt and very pretty hands. Her body is overall very elegant. She can also stand extremely well!
    Worst Points:
    As of now, her arms and left leg are really kicky but that can probably be fixed with a good restringing :) Her head also has pretty much zero posability right now, which I’ve heard is a common problem with Resinsoul dolls, that can also be fixed with restringing.

    Her watermelon outfit is made by me! Aloe also has a blue daisy-print dress made by cottonhoney on Etsy! She was previously wearing a unicorn-themed set from DreamdollBJDWorkshop on Etsy. It came with a dress, a bodysuit, petticoat, tights, a very cute necklace, and a ring. It’s amazingly made, I really recommend their shop!
  • Name story:
    To be honest, I couldn’t figure out a name for her after originally choosing “Millie” but not really liking it after getting her. I resorted to browsing a list of Pokémon character names (I love Pokémon and names of characters in Pokémon generally have a very cool sound to them). Aloe (pronounced Ah-lo-eh) is the Japanese name of Lenora, a normal-type Gym Leader from my favorite region, Unova! Since it would be kind of weird telling people her name is "Ah-lo-eh" I just say "Ah-low". I also just think it's a super cute name :)
