Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Reason for choice:
    The entire doll was so stunning! The colors really pop, and the face is both calm and ethereal. The clothes look so flowy and smooth, it really does reflect ancient Japanese clothing. How could I resist?
    Best Points:
    Definitely love the faceup and the little horns (the ears are really unique and pointed too but you can't see them through the wig)! The colors are very gorgeous and eye catching.
    Worst Points:
    The only thing is the clothes. The quality is beautiful, all three clothing layers are clearly of quality fabric and heavily detailed. However, it's a little.. stiff? Like, for human clothes there's these areas where the two pieces of fabrics met and are sewn together. Such areas are often on the shoulder area, or maybe sometimes on the sides beneath the arm. This is because a piece of human clothing is usually made of multiple pieces of fabric sewn together. But it also helps the clothing piece keep its shape and is, for lack of a better term, flexible. However, for Amaoni's golden outer coat, it's like a giant piece of fabric cut out perfectly. It's one whole piece of fabric, rather than multiple pieces of fabric sewn together. Because it's one whole piece of fabric, it can get a little annoying trying to straight out the wonky-looking clothing wrinkle lines when I'm posing Amaoni. I have OCD too, so the wonky wrinkle lines really just step on my nerves (so maybe it wouldn't be an issue for other BJD collectors if they don't have OCD) and thus I've resorted to draping the golden outer coat around Amaoni like a cape rather than actually having his arms go through the sleeves and wear it properly.

    Currently just his full set clothes. I look forward to buying new clothing for him in the future and swapping outfits around for all my future doll additions! But definitely I love the ancient Japanese clothing and ancient Chinese hanfu clothing: will definitely buy more of those designs compared to more modern-day clothing styles.

    His mask! It's not included in the pictures since it's blank and I haven't painted it yet but definitely love the extra touch it gives.
