Angora dresses in a lacy, eclectic and scavanged style. She pulls her outfits together from pieces of antique lace she finds in old trunks in the attic of a Victorian mansion where she lives. She makes a living selling some of her designs to eclectic little dress shops along the avenue.
  • Name story:
She is named after an ancient breed of cat, the Turkish Angora, which I chose because the softness of her wig matches the quality of their fur. De La Rue is her family loosely translates to "of the street", so her family is basically street cats who have run the avenue for over a century. The humans may think they're in charge but it's the De La Rue family who knows all, see all, and controls everything in the neighborhood.
    Character age:
    Appears to be around 19
    Character gender:
    Offsite roleplay:
This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
Angora was born in the attic of an aristocratic old Victorian and raised on the mean city streets, so she is very street smart and savvy. However, like most cats, she has a softer comfort-driven side, so she still makes her lair in the attic where she was born, nestled on the outskirts of a fun, eclectic and funky shopping district. The area, known simply as "4th Avenue", houses vintage clothing shops, resale markets, coffee houses, used bookstores and various eateries and trendy clubs that cater to the many college students attending a nearby university. There, Angora scavanges antique trunks for bits and pieces of old lace to create her unique fashions, and then sells her designs to eager dress shops along the avenue.
