Armali is a student at a prestigious private university that specializes in all things magical. Having grown up in a magical family it only made sense that Armali would end up here. Even though she knows the ins and outs of the "proper" magical world she is what some might call naive. Armali never knew that there were magic users that didn't come from magical families. She didn't know that there were magic users that deal with dark and unsavory things just to get a lead on a new spell. She really didn't know that there were people who intentionally chose the world of magic away from the secure confines and rules of the university even when offered the opportunity to attend. Now that Armali has been faced with all these new truths she needs to find out why someone might not approve of her bustling new school. When she encounters a former student sneaking into the library to steal a spell book her whole world turns upside down.
