Asa is a rarity among vampires these days, in that not only has he managed to survive for several centuries without being eaten by somebody else, but he was Turned directly by his lineage's Sire. This would make him quite a powerful force in the Vampire Courts....if he wasn't considered an oddball recluse by most of them.

While not above taking a bite out of an uppity youngster, Asa mostly wants to be left alone to do....whatever it is that Asa does. Most notably, recently, is causing a panic in the Courts after being caught on film by a deep sea expedition because he was curious about giant squid.

Absolutely useless as a historical reference because no matter what you want to know about, he was likely to have been Someplace Else.
