Astrid is a name I've always liked, and it just seemed to fit her. Marie came about because it sounded good with Astrid. Piper is from a childhood friend that she reminds me of, a bit.

Astrid is shy, sweet, gentle, and artistic. She's a middle child, with an older brother and younger sister, both of whom she adores (even if she and her brother butt heads constantly). She works for Cory, doing the books and shipping for both his personal studio and the shop he owns and Duke** runs, Creative Corner. She also owns and runs 3 different online shops, one for her digital art, one for her physical medium art, and another for her candles and personal care items like lotion, soap, etc. So she stays busy, but she likes it that way. She has a stutter that she's had her whole life, and even working with speech therapist hasn't helped. This stutter is part of why she's so quiet and shy. Being as shy as she is, she'd never had many friends before, but has been expanding her circle over the last year... mostly because she lives in the same apartment building as a lot of those new friends. She shares her 1-bedroom apartment with her beloved pet skunk, Pixie. She moved from Georgia to The City in 2023, and while she misses home, she does love The City and feels she made the right call to move. Aside from her family, the thing she misses most is her best friend Harper. When not hanging with friends or playing with Pixie, she enjoys doing art in various forms, candle making, soap making, playing bongos, ukulele, and the kalimba, reading, and taking long walks. She's very interested in all things outer space and the ocean. She has 13 various body piercings, mostly on her face, and a sign that she's nervous is when she starts playing with her facial jewelry. She also has several tattoos. Her hair is naturally blonde, but she often dyes it light blue, lavender, or pink. She's vegetarian, and her favorite foods are bread, cinnamon spice oatmeal, and baked apples. She enjoys making her own mead. She can't stand meat of any kind, avocado, Miracle Whip, and tapioca. She mostly likes pop music, her favorite artists being Billie Eilish, Finneas, Lady Gaga, Shawn Mendes, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Post Malone. She doesn't really watch tv, but her favorite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. She has a favorite galaxy, constellation, and certain stars, and loves stargazer lilies, sunflowers, and kaleidoscope roses.
