Tales of Gilvenian

Welcome! Gilvenia is a land of humans and mythical creatures, that for the most part are in good terms. The capital city is a grand sight. The city is located in a sea side, it is a seaport to locations far and near with interesting travellers' gossip to hear and lots wonderful cuisines to try. You might have already heard this, but Gilvenia is a monarchy with several powerful aristocratic families. However, do not get too tangled in the local politics if you want to steer from troubles. Thesedays something is cooking up in the shadows, if I may say so fair traveller. In front of the harbour area is an island, which is well-known for travellers. Maybe you already visited the island of Lavina that locates a powerful, yet rather vain, dragon spirit, who has a world class magic shop called Whimsy vials & counterspells co. Be it a potion or small trinket for back pain, amnesia, summoning rain or temporary good luck, you can find it there! Travellers also can wander in big unseen forest areas, deep lakes, rivers and mossy old ruins, which lead to garden of Ilengia, a garden for lost hopes. If you wander there too long you might lose your mind, so be aware fair traveller. Maybe you do not have the calling for adventures and rather expand your wisdom. Fear not, you can always enroll into the Gilvenian national academy! If you wish to expand your travels, Gilvenia also has neighbouring countries, such as the kingdom of Adafikar, that seems to have lots of hidden secrets that wish to unravel.

Character info: Camilr is a young blood-eater and brother of Ifgur Filezi. They have same mother and different fethers. His brother is very distant character to him before Rissa Parilpa, a human disguised as a woodland spirit comes to their house to help him with his sickness. As a young blood-eater he sometimes has a hard time with his blood-cravings. He also has horrible headaches, that make his limbs numb and sometimes he passes out. That is why he rarely goes out and spends most of his time inside playing and reading. Saturday evening is his favourite time, because his brother brings him a new trinket or curiosity from town. Actually he dosn't care about the curiosity, but the time he gets to spend with his brother. Blood-eaters or vampires, like some travellers call them, rarely harm humans. There are some bad egss among them, but actually even they much prefer sweeter blood of other creatures. If you ask the blood-eaters that is just a malicious rumour that has been spread in order to make their numbers fall. Greedy humans try to harvest all the power to their hands. Blood-eaters crave for blood especally when they are young, but the blood thrist calms when they are older. They don't need blood to survive, but as the name suggest, they do indeed love the taste of blood. So if there is blood available, they will most likely take the offer.
One day Camilr is in his room and smells weird smell after a thunder strom. The smell lures him to run away to the forest. He has never run so fast and he is scared that his limbs will go numb anytime... but the smell! It it so inviting! He finds a human that has fallen off a hill and has cut and bruises all over her legs. He is very tempted to charm her and take some of her blood, but he is amazed by her bravery to wander in the deep forest area, where most humans don't dare to come even on a sunny day. The human says her name is Regina and she is looking for someone called Rissa Parilpa. He surpresses his craving and brings her to meet his family.
