Reason for choice:

Flowne has a super cute face, and DiM was having a final sale before they closed. I chose a doll leaves body because the resin match is good, it's a pretty sculpt, and it's affordable! I've always wanted an MSD, and I wish all my SDs were actually that size!

Her name and character are inspired by the character DJ Candy from the video game series MySims.

Her full name is Candace Lianna Clark

Candy is a sweet but rebellious girl who is starting her teenage years. She is trying to fit herself somewhere within the crowd, but at the same time, she values her circle of friends. She'd rather follow her heart and do what she believes is right than follow the rules. She is virtuous and passionate about music. She is a talented singer and player, often performing at local gigs and open mic nights. She can quickly learn almost every instrument she can get her hands on, but her favorites are the guitar and the piano. Her favorite music is alternative/rock. She dreams of forming a band with her friends and becoming a singer and songwriter.

She has two older brothers who are much older than her. One of them is Jace (My Dollshe Bernard that I bought back in 2018), who is much closer to Candy since he dropped out of college to pursue music, much to their parent's dismay. He has influenced her passion for music and taught her how to play the guitar. She has been able to learn the piano by ear since she was six years old. Jace and Candy often bond through the music he has been listening to since he was her age, primarily alternative rock from the 2000s and 2010s and older music from the 80s and 90s. Candy also likes pop-punk, alternative rock, pop, and post-grunge music. Candy looks up to Jace and admires his courage to follow his dreams.

Mr. Clark, the CEO of Mega Corp, and Mrs. Clark, a Politician, loom large in Candy's life. Their expectations for their three children's success in education and careers are very high. They strive to provide what they believe is best for their kids, often at the expense of their happiness, without intending to. Jace's decision to drop out of university and pursue music was the first blow to these expectations. They're skeptical about Jace's potential for a successful music career, and they view music as a hobby rather than a profession. They see him as a negative influence on Candy. They worry that the song lyrics and artists she's been listening to are too mature for her age and are inspiring her to rebel by dying her hair and wearing clothes they disapprove of.

Her parents' disapproval of her passion for music creates constant tension. She often finds herself torn between their expectations and her own dreams, a conflict that fuels her rebellious nature.
