Reason for choice:

I fell in love with her face at first sight. It had been such a long time since I'd loved a sculpt that much. I loved everything about her; her size, outfit and especially her face.

Best Points:

That gorgeous face. The slightly upturned grin and ever so slightly masculine look makes her really stand out in a good way to me.

Worst Points:

Her damn legs. I wish I would have gotten the mobility joints xD She has limited movement in them but she still looks fantastic!

Name story:

I knew from the moment I saw her I wanted her to have a strong, slightly masculine name and that I wanted it to start with a C. So after quite a lot of searching I finally found the name Cassander and it just seemed perfect. Her last name Blackburn was chosen specifically due to it's relation to water. It is an old English name which roughly means 'black stream'. I also though it sounded rather pirate-y XD

Other Titles: Captain Cassander, Cap’n Cass, Cap, Captain Blackburn (She doesn’t like being called this as it was what everyone called her father.)

She's a pirate and Captain of the ship she inherited from her father (the previous Captain) called the Shadow Maiden. She's one of the only female pirates/captain's known to the world and is highly feared and respected by many of her fellow pirates. She also has a lot of enemies and bounties on her in over 50 villages and ports. She's an incredible swordswoman and uses a monocle to cover her missing eye that she lost in a battle when she 19 (because she thinks it looks better than an eye patch). She's now 28 years old and has been Captain of the Shadow Maiden since her father was killed when she was only 20 years old.
