Bought from a fellow bjd owner in Russia, payed in parts, he is with me since 31 of May (2024).

Provenance:

First owner ordered him from straight from Dollshe in 2013, she showed me email of order confirmation (screenshots). Certificate states date 2013.6.16.

Reason for choice:

I was exploring history of Dollshe, found some old molds interesting and then saw that some old dolls were selling by people in bjd community. Rosen seems to be like Hound and old Berman to me, like a perfect mix of them, so I decided to buy him. He lived in box since first owners purchase, so he was almost brand new.

Best Points:

He is really heavy and soft! I also love the way he smirks.

Worst Points:

Other side of the first best point - he needs to be restringed, because his parts are too heavy for the string he has right now. His faceplate is all over the place and likes to fly down (so I got silicone cap for hold it and wig at place) And whole current Dollshe situation :(

Name story:

“Mad” in Madus is representing his chaotic character. It’s “Мэдус” in Russian, which sounds more like Medus in English, but I wanted to keep the meaning, so wrote it through “A”. His first name has a turn too – Cornelius is a fake version of Relius name, he used to go by this name to play in his moving theater freely. Relius Madus comes from a wealthy family, which didn't approve such "nonsense", so he tried to escape their pressure by re-naming him self a little.
