I love how annoyed the Nael sculpt looked (that pout!) and I love how short and thick the Illua body was. I'm so happy it worked out as a hybrid. <3

Kingcup is the third (and final) main character of one of my stories, Icarus at Midnight. It's about three twentysomething year old insomniacs who attend an informal late night support group to deal with their magical trauma and then maybe become gods too. Kingcup is actually the founder of it, go her!

I'm really happy I finally found a combination that works for her. It's just nice having the whole Icarus crew home finally.

A lover of flannel jackets, nerdy tees and well-worn jeans, Kingcup lives for the now classic grunge style. Flash any shade of dark blue in front of her eyes though, and she’ll have a heavy internal debate over buying it even if it’s not her general style.

Name story:

I really liked saying Kingcup and it seemed fitting for her personality. Datura is another poisonous name I really liked and it meshed well with her sister's name, so Datura it is.

Passionate and stubborn, Kingcup is a former child prodigy in terms of magical theory and practice, earning praise from many of the Academia Circles until one day, she suddenly quit magic cold turkey. It’s anyone’s guess why, but given she’s the sole founder of a support group for people who got hurt by magic… Well. It seems pretty obvious in retrospect now, yeah?

Thankfully though, she’s very much the type of person to drag society kicking and screaming to her expectations, not the other way around so she’s not gonna let a societal taboo keep her down!
