Venus
Skintone:
Tan
Body:
Nuevo girl large bust
Sex:
Female
  • Face-up artist(s):
    Sugar & Moose
    Date of acquisition:
    April 2016
    Provenance:
    I am her second owner
    Reason for choice:
    After a long hunt for an appropriate sculpt to be a native american girl for me I found Granado Venus. Not only do they have lovely resin options she has a slightly muscular build which is great for a native.
    Best Points:
    Her sculpt is gorgeous and unique. I haven't seen any girl heads with such strong features.
    Worst Points:
    Her legs are extremely kinky. Granado has an unnecessary joint in the thigh that makes it hard for her legs to stay facing the right way.
  • Wig:
    Monique
    Favourite colours:
    Natural colors
    Fashion style(s):
    tribal apparel
    Key fashion accessory:
    Fur and beads
    I made her clothes and jewelry. The skirt is made out of suede to give it that appropriate texture. The beads I got from an antique jewelry shop so they look weathered and worn. Fur I got from Distinct Fabrics online.
  • Name story:
    Dyani means deer in one of the Native American language. She is from the Ojibwe (aka Chippewa) tribe. I chose it because her character is very tomboyish and yet graceful. The name sounds like Danny which is a boy's name so it is a funny nickname for her by her non-native friends.
    Character age:
    24
    Character gender:
    Female
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
    Dyani is a huntress and she is very protective. She is based on a character in a novel I'm writing.
