Echo is a silly fairy. She loves nature, trees especially, and followed the fairy Shadow when she escaped their world. Echo is very different from Shadow though. While Shadow doesn't interact, Echo spends her time mimicking the people she comes across. She wants to blend in, and does that by copying humans as much as possible.
