Reason for choice:

One of the first dolls I ever really fell in love with. I'd lusted over this faceup on google images and flickr long before I saw it come available on the marketplace. The second it was listed, I jumped on it.

Best Points:

the hands are easily removable to dress the doll, and you can turn the s-hook in the socket to lock it snuggly into place so it doesn't get lost. The torso is amazingly poseable and locks into several positions to stay where you put him. With sueding and tight strings, the entire doll poses like a dream. The ability to swap out tongues (!!!) is super novel and fun.

Worst Points:

the hands and feet. The hands are kind of awkwardly posed like he's cupping a bubble, which makes it difficult for him to appear natural in photos. I'm a much bigger fan of articulated hands, so I'll be ordering some replacements for him with pretty long nails. The feet are kind of small and flat. I might replace those with something more shapely, as well. Pretty minor complaints, overall.
