  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     Reason for choice:
    I've loved the Mei face for a while, and heard that Resinsoul did amazing custom work (and is affordable), so when I finally decided to buy another BJD, I decided to get a Mei. But I wanted her to be more poseable than the standard Mei body, and I couldn't decide what makeup I wanted. So I contacted Resinsoul and asked them if they were a) willing to do a custom hybrid body for her and b) if they were willing to sell me 3 Mei heads with 3 custom faceups so she could have different makeup looks. They said yes! They did an awesome job and were fabulous to work with, and I would love to get more custom dolls from them in the future.
    Best Points:
    Her 3 interchangeable heads with different faceups! She has different looks for each season that go best with the colors of the season (warm tones for summer/fall, cool tones for winter/spring, and a fun dark makeup look for October to go with a more witchy vibe)! I also love her cute little pointed ears and usually style her wigs in a way so that her ears are visible, and she has such a sweet little expression.
    Worst Points:
    It's been a challenge to get her to stand--her ankles are kinda floppy even after restringing, wiring, and attempting to suede her with little pieces of fun foam, and even in sturdy boots, she can fall over. I'm going to try getting some silicon discs to see if that solves the problem. Her shoulders are also a bit floppy but that may be because I restrung her a bit too loose there (but I'll probably try some silicon discs there as well). Overall, though, she's awesome and I love her!
