  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Despite the very strange hair/faceup/costuming from the listing, her sculpt looked beautiful and I thought I could make something of her. Plus she was on sale :) She seemed like a good, safe choice for my first bjd
    Best Points:
    The resin is really beautiful and silky smooth. She has a good weight and feels more substantial than my other (non-bjd) dolls. The face sculpt is beautiful and detailed.
    Worst Points:
    I mistakenly picked body 2 because I liked how the joints looked. After she arrived I learned that she's not double jointed, so her posing is quite limited. She also didn't hold her poses very well when she arrived - she couldn't sit without assistance and her head kept popping back into the same position.

    Her skin was a lighter color than I expected, so I may dye her darker in the future. I was also planning to dye her wig a bright color - but since I can't pick, she'll just stay blonde for now. I might order a second wig of the same type so I could dye it and still have the more neutral blonde wig. While I absolutely love the wig I got, it was very difficult to find any wigs that had even a slight bit of curl in them. I haven't been able to find any wigs that have box braids, a thicker afro, or dreadlocks. If anyone knows of a place I could order a wig like that please send them my way!
