Reason for choice:

I chose this doll because she looks similar to the character she is intended to represent. Her large eyes and tiny mouth were of particular importance, as was the general shape of the body. Stocky legs with no chest was a big deal in her creation.

Best Points:

There's hearts on her joints???? And I love it???? Also her lil hands are stupid cute. She feels very nice to the touch and is lightweight. Her knees hold well and she fits standard playscale furniture and accessories, as well as some clothes.

Worst Points:

Her hips and shoulders are not very cooperative. Some areas of resin are so translucent that blue tac and the magnet in her headcap are visible. Her eyewells are deeper than expected and eyes intended for her do not sit flush in the socket.

Jack Henry was an x-mas gift from my spouse. She fits well in Rainbow High tops and skirts, but her legs are a bit too chunky for the pants and socks. Some Barbie clothes fit her, too, if they are stretchy. She needs to a lot of work, and I haven't found a wig I like for her, yet.

Jack Henry is named Jack Henry because when I was rolling the character I couldn't think of a name so I named her after my kids. She's special to me in a lot of ways.

This doll is a physical representation of my FFXIV character. She is an adult Lalafel, but the race is like mold people and no one can convince me otherwise. She is a Black Mage and enjoys it. A lot. Little gremlin. Tiny monster. Rides a purple T-Rex she found in a box. Quite intelligent, good with problem solving and a fair head for business. Very standard of her race, nothing particularly unique about her except that I love her.

She is not interested in romance, but is married. In the world she lives in, a person can bind their soul to another one. This enables them to pull themselves through the aether to their soulbind. Since they were always travelling to one another for adventures, assistance, boredom, someone forgot some bait for a fishing trip, someone found a treasure map and a million other little reasons, it seemed like a good idea. It also saved on teleportation fees, and Jack Henry ain't about to spend money she doesn't have to. Plus, you know, if she needs to roll up on someone bothering her spouse, it's quick and dirty to pop in, set off a few Flares and run away before someone calls the guards.

Although they are from entirely different universes and only ever would come into contact in my personal doll room, I consider my other doll, Felfrank, to be in the same scale as her. Since he's 72cm tall not including his horns, that means she's wicked small- which is typical of her race. Little evil mushroom pixie. She and Frank don't like each other. He thinks she's an evil chihuahua. She thinks he's wasting his cool FLAMING SWORDS. They do not work together. They will not. Frank honestly doesn't even feel comfortable sleeping in the same room as her. She might, I dunno, set fire to his hair or sumn.

She's not done. I don't have fancy pictures of her yet. Someday.
