Provenance:

Bought the body through Alice's Collections, head came straight from Granado.

Reason for choice:

I bought the head for a female character, and it took me a LONG time to find the perfect sculpt for her. I found it beautiful, realistic enough for my taste and not overly feminine (which was important as the original character was quite the tomboy).

Best Points:

The body is delicate, compact and perfect for a young adult / late teen character. The resin match is quite perfect despite the body being much older. The head itself is gorgeous in my opinion, and they're both on the smaller side for an SD, they fit together perfectly.

Worst Points:

The body has single joints so the posing is not great. Could be better after some glue, but I haven't done any modifications to it yet,

Both the head and body originally belonged to different characters. When I was thinking about selling them, I tried them together and they ended up working perfectly for a third character, so they stayed and became Jordan.

Jordan was 14 when he rescued a mermaid child of the same age from a freakshow. That's when he learnt about his own ancestry: that is, him being part mermaid as well. His grandpa, the one who helped hide (and later send back home) the rescued child told him this secret in the most casual way, turning Jordan's world upside down. But don't worry, he's coping well!

He's always been a cheerful, mischievous but kind child, and that hasn't changed one bit. He's a little ray of sunshine even now as a young adult. The only difference is, he now knows he has relatives somewhere out there under the sea, and he's determined to find them one day. And to eventually reunite with his mermaid friend he helped rescue years ago.
