  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     A few things inspired my styling for her and overall concept:
    -The ballet dolls I've seen on IG really made me nostalgic for my own ballet childhood seeing the big girls dance
    -The Barbie as Titania collector doll I had as a kid and was my favorite Barbie so I gave Juliya her beautiful hair color
    -The Barbie as Juliet collector doll in the same collection I still have from my childhood and really inspired my take on the Juliet costume...eventually.
  • Name story:
    Similar to Roman, I chose Juliya as a varient of Juliet so not terribly deep. Lebedev apparently means swan in Russian and given how ballerinas have been compared to swans, we got Swan Lake, it seemed like the perfect choice.

    Like Roman, I do want her to tell me who she is, but for now I imagine her as being a girl absolutely dedicated to her job as a prima ballerina and raised as a dancer since she was a toddler just like her older sister. She is deeply passionate about dance and it's how she met a young, besotted Roman so for her it's always special and the two of them have a great bond that shows in their work.
