I bought the head on DoA, and I bought the body directly from Infinitidoll

Reason for choice:

I just fell in love with pictures of the blank head sculpt... I loved the shape of his cheekbones and the way his eyes were sculpted. The body was one I had had in a box for awhile and it worked well proportionately because Claude is a pretty big head.

Best Points:

The head is very handsome and expressive. The body has a very attractive sculpt and decent posabilty.

Worst Points:

I modified the mouth on Claude because he can look a little derpy by default since his mouth is pretty slack. The body has an annoying lower torso joint that frequently pops out.

I altered the mouth through a combination of additive resin mods and subtractive cutting/sanding. It is quite different! It took 3 tries to get a faceup that make reasonably smart - he doesn't handle thick eyebrows well, I learned.

Li QiuXue is a high-ranking gentry member of his sect and tutor to his cousin, Zhu XiaoMeng. He has a quiet, focused personality and generally prefers to be left to the company of people who he knows especially well. He dislikes being touched and will actually use some of his spiritual energy to sense where people are so that he can make sure that he is out of reach; this actually makes him especially good with the sword, though it isn’t why he developed the skill. He does not have a first-class spiritual tool, but carries both his own sword and his father’s sword and is able to dual-wield though it is very tiring.

His father, Li QiFeng (黎启峰), was very close to the Sect Leader, and QiuXue enjoys a similar status. In the past, Li QiuXue was married to Fan LinJiao (范琳娇), and together they had Li Yan. However, LinJiao and Li QiFeng were suddenly struck down by a violent curse, which was remarkably similar to the curse that had killed QiuXue’s brother and mother almost twenty years earlier. His son barely survived and remains somewhat sickly. At this point, QiuXue considers his family cursed.

(Actor: Kaga Kaito. Kaito comes from a family of actors; due to his parents busy filming schedules, he split his childhood living in Hokkaido with his father’s parents and his mother’s family in Shenzhen. Being multi-lingual, handsome, and well-connected helped him gain popularity as a movie and television actor in his own right. (Though he is much more popular in China than Japan.)

He also occasionally solves murders - sometimes in the towns where they’re filming, and sometimes on the sets of his own productions.)
