Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Purchased IOS Anos head from YOUKAIMOON, purchased Volks SD13 body from nikittin.
    I sees a pretty head, I buys a pretty head. My impulse control is nonexistent.

    On my return to the hobby, I first went hunting for a head for Cassian. In that hunt I kept seeing this IOS Anos head...and what do you know, I'd just purchased an SD13 body that I was planning on giving to Aren, but alas! It could not be. The body went to Kestrel instead.

    YOUKAIMOON sent Kestrel's head along with a beautiful Monique Gold wig and gorgeous silicone eyes. So far I love the combination, even if I don't quite love how much dust the eyes attract. I installed some lashes because I'm a masochist, though I'm not 100% about them and may remove them.

    Kestrel's body is actually yellowed white resin-- I did some quick blushing to match the neck and hands, and it seems to fly under the radar pretty well. I also had some clothes that none of my other dolls seemed to nom onto, so I gave them to Kestrel...and boom! Kestrel happened.

    This was a very easy doll for me overall. Everything just kind of happened and fell into place, which did a lot to help reignite my interest in BJD's!

    Apologies for poor photos in advance. They're...surprisingly hard to photograph? That and their hair is quite defiant. The hair cares not for wig spray nor hairpins. Here's hoping that when the weather cools off I'll be able to get their desert photoshoot going with minimal drama from the wig.
