Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     His sculpt has so much expression even when it's blank. His hands are very solid.

    I ordered Kirby from the DDE in January of 2021 and he arrived in June of that year. I bought him slightly on impulse. The character had existed since 2011, but I hadn't planned to actually give him a shell until I saw this sculpt.

    Kirby hates dress clothes. He'd rather lounge around in jeans and a t-shirt. He loves baggy hoodies and denim jeans. You can occasionally catch him wearing a button up shirt, but he won't be happy about it.

    Kirby's best friend Zola Lee refers to him as "soft boi" and this kind of exemplifies him. He's gentle and shy. He's nervous around new experiences. He's kind to other people and genuinely wants to see people succeed, but just doesn't always know how to present those feelings so he comes off a little awkward. He's one of two children to a single father, his mother having left them when Kirby was 7. Adults speculate that his mother's abandonment is what has left him with the anxiety issues that he's always had.

    Kirby aspires to be an entomologist. He loves all kinds of bugs, and when he found out that he shared a name with the founder of the study he knew it was his destiny. Despite his love of the creepy crawlies Kirby is actually quite cautious of any other animal group. Cats are okay, but every other fluffy critter is on thin ice.

    Kirby has a love of retro video gaming. He has played every Crash Bandicoot and Spyro title from the PSone and PS2 era, and he has a collection of Nintendo consoles. Cartoons based on video games are especially interesting to him. When he was 10 his dad urged him to pick up the guitar, and he quickly agreed because he thought he'd be cool like Sonic Underground.
