Child of two sprites, started out as female baby, went through cocooned transformation to male body. Sometimes switches to female body because of highly emotional situations (mostly caused by his SO, Cadence (a mnf El)). Given the leeway given to possible sprite behaviors, the changeover hasn't been noticed by the rest of his non-sprite companions. (Although the original cocooning and results caused a great deal of puzzlement to the parental sprite couple.)
