Reason for choice:

I love old dolls, rare dolls, dolls with huge eyes, dolls with tiny mouths, and basically all Delfs. How could I NOT buy this doll?

Best Points:

She has the cutest nose. And extremely elegant hands.

Worst Points:

Her resin is a strange dull beige and feels very different from later CP resin.

I did a great deal of research on the Delf line, Cerberus Project, Luts, and Ari when I decided to buy this doll. I'd be happy to share it will you sometime! There are approximately 2 photos from when she was on the Luts website for sale in 2002. One I found on an old page just basically cataloging every doll Luts had for sale up until 2005, and the other one I asked Luts for. I messaged them and asked if they had any pictures left, and they had one. It's on my Flickr.

Kumiko is actually my favorite Japanese girl name. I worked with a Japanese exchange program in college and just really loved the name.

Kumiko is a shy, sweet girl who lives with her parents and her sister. She works very hard to get good grades. She doesn't like to be noticed and tries to fade into the background, but her crazypants sister won't let that happen!
