Reason for choice:

I honestly don't remember! The face-up on the company photos wasn't that appealing to me, which is why I asked for the Request option. Perhaps I wanted a "sleeping" sculpt at that time.

Best Points:

Half-closed eyes and eye make-up. I also like the slim body.

Worst Points:

If I had it to do over again, I'm not sure I would have gotten the white skin. It is very pretty, but I've come to prefer a more natural tone. I might also have requested a more textured-looking skin on the face-up.

Name story:

Lio, along with most of my large dolls, is named after a character in author Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe mystery series. Lio appeared in one of the early novels, Too Many Cooks.
