Reason for choice:

This has been a grail doll of mine since it made this doll was released in 2014. I love centaurs and particularly the face on this one.

Best Points:

The sculpt and face up.

Worst Points:

Not as poseable as I had hoped, but this doll was heavily played with when I got it and I am new at re-stringing too.

Originally purchased on DOA secondhand. I always wanted this doll since it came out. He is by far my favorite of the Luts centaurs, though I do really wish I could afford more of them. He is just gorgeous. His wig, unicorn tail, and clothing are all made/modified by me.

Locket mostly wears grey, blue, and black. He has a unicorn tail in place of his Luts goat tail, which is made of wool and needle felted together. His clothing is handmade and I used a recycled table runner, silk scarf, and various pieces of costume jewelry. His wig used to be a generic fur wig, which I modified with needle felted wool to make it longer with braids and metal feathers.

Name story:

I choose the name Locket because this doll is a kind seer and shaman. He hides things. He can see into the past and is always in tune with nature. He speaks to animals and knows when the weather will change. He is good friends with Princess Odessy (Feeple 60 Chloe) and her guard Quill (Doll Spirit Jade on a Doll H Family Body).

Locket is a black kirin and rather young, only 14 years old. He currently lives in the palace gardens of the Pearl Palace in the Kingdom of Gossamer. It's more of a forced residence, as he is locked inside the gardens for his own protection. It is feared and with good reason, he may be kidnapped or killed for the value of his horns. The kirin used to be numerous, but have been hunted to almost near extinction.

He tries to make the most of his time inside the gardens. He has the power to make plants grow and restore dying trees. He also has a very keen ability to see into the future. While this ability is sometimes seen lightly in the Fae people, Locket is rather talented in this. He does not always like everything he sees and even when asked if he can tell the future, he is not always forthcoming with it, fearing he could cause panic. He knows the fate of the fae people, including the kingdom's princess, Odessy.

The princess was never much to follow rules and when the gift of sight was awakened in her one night, she eventually decided to leave the palace in search of other adventures. Before she left, she gave Locket the key to open the garden and leave, if he should so choose. However, by this time, Locket had seen of things to come and was hesitant to leave when the princess decided to escape herself. His vision of the future is not always certain or perfect for that matter.
