Reason for choice:

14-year-old me thought he was very nice to look at and wanted to write homoerotic stories about him and one of my friend's dolls.

Best Points:

He's fairly easy to pose, is quite durable, and cute as heck.

Worst Points:

He was strung too tightly, so his strings snapped and now I have to fix him. For now he looks like an amputee, with his right leg gone from the knee down.

Lucas is half-Swedish, half-American. He's spent his entire life in Sweden, but has always had dreams of making it big in the States as a singer/songwriter. However, having only ever known poverty and minimal success in his early adult years, his idealistic view of life has crumbled to give way to a more pessimistic perspective. To cope, he's taken to the bottle. He earns just enough to cover the rent for his small one-bedroom apartment, as well as his bar tabs.

This outcome hasn't been too surprising for anyone, as Lucas was raised single-handedly by his alcoholic mother. Though she was never cruel towards him, it was no secret that she was as deadbeat as they came. He found solace in music, as well as the time spent with his cousin Freja. The two of them found an escape through evening LARPing sessions in which Lucas played a heroic bard-knight named Lunar, who fought alongside the druid-princess named Fae. Having been four years older than Freja, he'd first engaged in these sessions feeling rather disinterested in playing with his young cousin. However, he was pleasantly surprised when he found himself beginning to genuinely enjoy their games. And so they continued. It didn't take long for him to love Freja as a sister; there were even small moments of something resembling paternal affection.

After they'd spent a few months together like this, Freja and her family moved away suddenly and without explanation. With a void to fill, Lucas joined a band using the alias Lunar. He dropped out of school and spent his newfound time playing gigs at local pubs and partying. Thus began his downward spiral.
