1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Lyla is the writer and model behind the popular blog • i d l y l l a • She loves to wax poetic about the mundane and forgotten. Her blog centers around her musings and poems about the everyday places she visits, accompanied by photos of her carefully curated outfits. Lyla is 100% aware that her writing makes her look like a artsy, self-important snob. But she doesn’t take herself too seriously irl. She’s even rolled her eyes and had a laugh at her own work! However she does not keep the blog as a joke. It’s a place for her to flex her creative muscles. She believes in the sentiment and she really is this corny.

Idylla is her alter ego. A woman who is confident, mysterious, and well-spoken. She’s perfect and worthy of being listened to. Lyla wants to be her too. Idylla doesn’t feel loneliness like Lyla. Idylla doesn’t feel nervous or like an imposter like her either.

Lyla tries to remember to keep the blog only a part of her life. It’s alluring to spend all her time on it. Reading comments, feeling admired, and forming pretend relationships with strangers on the internet. She doesn’t want to trap herself in the blog. Other activities she enjoys are knitting her own clothes, reading history books, winding down to classical music, and people watching from her window.

She is shy and quiet by nature. The blog keeps her from being a total hermit, for which she is thankful. She has a rich inner world, which she brings to life in her writings. It’s her dream to write a real, cohesive novel. Maybe even a series. And of course to publish her poetry.
