Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     I had a smaller mechanical doll and wanted to try something larger. I don't fancy sm*rtdolls, and getting larger Obitsu dolls seemed really hit-or-miss, so Volks it was.
    Best Points:
    Holds poses like I'm used to, having come from the world of figures and 3D modeling, w. Also very light.
    Worst Points:
    If I try to force her into poses. even just a little, like I do with 3D models or stringed dolls, I end up breaking her...oops. Luckily, she just snaps right back together, but that lack of flexibility is definitely something I miss. The stability of a skeleton comes at a price.
    Owning a Dollfie had been a dream of mine since I was a middle-schooler. One day in 2021 it dawned on me that I'm an adult and I have disposable income and I can do what I want and so here we are with the dolls, ha (Pandemic brain). May is actually wearing the first ever doll item I bought - a wig from Little Monica bought in 2017! I tried to pull this off back then but I wasn't quite at the "I have disposable income!" stage of my life yet...at least, not enough to be buying dolls, ha. Anyway, so we already have Ina to dress in crazy ornate things and be lookin like an actual BJD, so I wanted May to be more fashion-doll-esque, and maybe travel with us and take photos places~ ...She ended up being a bit cumbersome for that so we'll see. She's still super fun to dress up and pose and finding clothes for her is easy, too. Imma just try not to break any more of her joints trying to aggressively pose her from now on ahaha;;;
