Reason for choice:

I fell in love with Alan's face when it was first announced, and wanted a more feminine/androgynous body

Best Points:

Gorgeous face-up, very gorgeous subtle shimmer despite my worry that it would be too prominent, perfect head for this character, body is proportional and aesthetically perfect for the character

Worst Points:

the body is a bit floppy and can be very tricky to hold poses, the minifee neck connector has a bad habit of slipping around and causing the head to pop off when moved.

Name story:

while thinking of names, Mona stood out to me, but I wanted a more unisex option too, and the theme of art and artists fit the character, so Monet felt appropriate.

Mona, also known as Monet, is an art history student at a prestigious university who models for art students to earn tuition money by day, and by night is a member of an internationally-wanted criminal theives' troupe they're indebted to, where their specialization is art theft. They have stolen millions of dollars' worth of art and artifacts in order to pay back the debt, but still has a long way to go until they can be free of the shadow hanging over them. They are skilled at infiltrating museums and art institutions with their knowledge and confident demeanor, and tends to use seduction, stealth, manipulation, and their ability to blend in seamlessly to any environment to get their mark, earning them the nickname "The Shapeshifter" among the criminal underground. They see gender and presentation as another way of expressing the multitudes they contain within themself, and dressing in clothes of varying styles both feminine and masculine is very freeing for them.
