Nevan has a very strong attachment to his twin sister Niamh. So strong in fact that it begins to negatively impact the relationship he has with his girlfriend Rahna. When Niamh leaves in order to allow Nevan and Rahna to be together without her complicating things, Nevan realizes that even when she isn't there, he still can't dedicate himself entirely to Rahna. He finds himself worrying about Niamh when he should be focused on his girlfriend. When Niamh eventually returns, he is both relieved and nervous about how Rahna will handle her return.
