Hiroyuki, or Noire, as he is know in his current lifetime, recently received his doctorate in Anthropology and is interested in studying legends and myths of various cultures. He is particularly interested in the field of reincarnation, since he actually is on his second incarnation. In his previous life, he, as Hiroyuki, and Lionel, as Nimuel, were heroes in another word and both sacrificed themselves in the final battle in order to ensure the lasting peace and safety of their world. Having finally located Nimuel after searching for most of his life, Yuki has settled down and is enjoying his job as a professor in the city's nearby university and part owner/dessert chef in Nimuel's restaurant.

When not buried in research, Yuki enjoys baking sweets, reading romance novels, video games, anime, and watching Nimuel work on his art. He has also carried a minor addiction to coffee through both lifetimes, and loves going to cafes to get the high-end stuff. Although his preference is black coffee, his sweet tooth does mean he enjoys the occasional overloaded fancy coffee drinks.

As a person, Yuki is fairly soft spoken, sweet, and a bit shy. Underneath that, he hides a snarky sense of humor, a wickedly sharp wit, and a proclivity towards being a good leader, provided that people hear what he is saying!
