Reason for choice:

I just couldn't pass up this beautiful custom skintone combination...I saw it as a unique face-up challenge.

Best Points:

Her skintone is smooth and amazing, with absolutely no faded spots, patches or seams.

Worst Points:

I adore her delicate looking single jointed body, but it will need suedeing and thicker string down the road.

Patchouli is a shadow spirit who dresses in beautiful corsets made by Raouken, with flowing mori and dark mori skirts that are decorated with flowers.

Name story:

I chose the name Patchouli after a predominant incense of the flower child era. Back in the day, patchouli was a very black incense, the same color as this doll.

Before her death, Patchouli was a free spirited flower child living in San Francisco. After her passing, all her belongings were packed into an antique trunk she owned and shipped to her parents. Not understanding her, and ashamed of their daughter's free spirited ways, it languished unopened in the attic of a stately old Victorian. It was finally forgotten altogether and left behind when her parents finally downsized and moved. She now haunts the old Victorian attic where her trunk was left, as a shadow spirit.
