Funny story! This is my second time owning him. My sister bought him on the MP about 4-5 years ago, then traded him to me. Three years ago, I traded him to Pepperonipizza. And then I bought him back this year.

Reason for choice:

My sister wasn't feeling this doll, and I thought he'd be great for a side character I hadn't intended to shell.

Best Points:

Gorgeous boy! He's a bit yellowed, but I actually really like the color.

Worst Points:

Posing isn't great and he has that hip joint I don't like. I also feel like his arms are a bit skinny for such a wide chest.

Name story:

Quillon Kayman (Grimes) Graves

I was just looking for unusual goth inspired names and found Quillon and Kayman on a list and liked them. Grimes comes from Frank Grimes on the Simpsons because when he was first created as a side character, my sister and I were joking about how he's like Old Grimey (as he liked to be called) and never wants anybody to have any fun in life. Since he was just an NPC at the time, it was fine for him to have a joke name, and by the time he became a playable character, the name was already too important to change. But he got tired of it and changed his last name to Graves, which is a real last name (one of my close friends growing up, actually!) but also fitting for him as a mortician's assistant.

Quillon is the type most people avoid, and he prefers it that way. He's dark, quiet, brooding, antisocial and would rather sit in a dark room with just a candle lit by himself, than go out and about. He's closed off, with a wall built up around him but occasionally lets the very few people he trusts see glimpses past his tough exterior. Cooper is the person he trusts the most, and would probably consider him his best friend...if he ever considered even having friends. He's very intelligent, and went to college to major in mortuary science and minor in journalism. He worked as a journalist for a music magazine and website for awhile, but decided interviewing people just wasn't his thing, and has now moved back to his college town to work as a mortician's assistant. In his free time, Quill enjoys reading, writing, listening to death metal, midnight walks, botanical gardens in the evening, and just sitting in silence, doing nothing but decompressing. He loves things that appeal to his senses, one of his favorites being storms, as they appeal to all of his senses in a good way. He dislikes all animals (especially cats), holidays, materialism, too much noise and people who try too hard to include him when he just wants to be left alone.
