Stanislav, and his twin Vladislav, were born to two Russian peasants, Mikhail and Yelizaveta, in 1745.
Their childhood was not out of the ordinary for their time and social status- their mother died young, and his father remarried.

Stanislav and Vladislav were sent to the Borisoglebsky Monastery at age 5 for education, as they were seemingly gifted. At age 13, however, while Vladislav became the apprentice of the village’s doctor, Stanislav stayed with his father to help out with his work. He married young to someone who he somewhat liked. Stanislav lived a most ordinary life.

That is until the bubonic plague of 1770. His wife died; they had no children; his family members were all dying.
While unaware of this, his brother, who had also lost his wife, and also 6 of his children, had become somewhat mad with desperation; a doctor, he had started a quest to make himself, his twin brother and his remaining child ‘immortal’.
Somehow, through some gruesome act, he succeeded (using forbidden magic). But the price to pay was high: he sacrificed many, and stripped his daughter and twin of their “humanity” (in the physical sense).

Stanislav turned into a skeleton; His niece, Vladislav’s daughter, Anastasya, into some kind of monster-looking woman.

Neither could ever find out of why their appearance changed; at the time of this happened, ‘Ana’ was 18, and them 37. They hid their appearance under clothing, and later, spells. They fled. They went around the world, and Vladislav grew a fortune.

Stanislav became quiet a player, and in the 1920, he resided in New York, America. This is where he made his own fortune, as he entered the bootlegging business during the prohibition, smuggling fine alcoholic for his speakeasy. (He went on to invest that money in stocks etc etc)

His is also when he met the love of his life, Anahera (not shelled). She was witty and charming, oh so mysterious, and seemed beautiful beyond human- because she was not, in fact, human. They befriended each other- and one fateful night, December 1928, he proposed to her. She accepted, and thats when they revealed to each other their curses- she was a “Lampade Nymph”, escapee from the underworld with the help of the entity Charon.

Moving around with Vladislav and Anastasia, they eventually found their way to modern day London. They prayed for a child; and they received one; only, they did not expect him to be a soul-possessing demon. However, the gods were cruel to cursed ones. They started the process to adopt an infant child for their sons to take possession of.

They named him Aloysius.
