Base Story: Amelia comes vaguely from the background of Carnival Row ( Amazon Series )/'Lost girl' - ( Netflix Series ). Except more modern for obvious reasons. The dark aesthetic comes from the protection of 'catching colors', this is a term fae use when they don't want to be bothered by anyone's energy. The black clothing repels intentions, gives them safety and security by hiding from their enemies or people who push their agendas on them. She dyes her hair black often, but her natural color is silver with pastel rainbow tones. You can find her amongst the humans most of the time but don't necessarily prefer them. She's isn't quick to turn heel if there is an innocent involved. As for magic, and her wings- she straps them and usually gets away with looking human enough. Her magic, she has trouble NOT doing. It is just easier with magic she thinks.
