1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

  • Name story:
I think Teddy's name came about because 1) I put a parade of differently colored wigs on him and jokingly referred to him as Teddy Lupin and 2) I kept saying that despite his looks, he's really just a big teddy bear. His full first name is actually Theodore, but he much prefers going by Teddy.
    Character age:
A little over 400, give or take some time.
    Character gender:
    Male
    Offsite roleplay:
This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
Teddy was an actor in Shakespearean England. He desperately wanted to play bigger parts, and would do almost anything to get an advantage. A friend of his in the acting troop revealed himself to be a vampire (after a particularly fun wrap party), and Teddy begged to be turned thinking it would guarantee him eternal youth and beauty. His friend promised to think it over, but told him to wait a bit. Teddy was impatient, and instead went to one of the theater goers who had long been the subject of dark rumors. That man was also a vampire, but he harbored a secret curse. He changed Teddy without a thought, and his curse was passed on to his "first born." Rather than being beautiful forever, Teddy was transformed into a creature that was the unholy marriage of man and bat. He gained the other powers vampirism provided, but was stuck as a "beast."

Over time Teddy has come to appreciate and even revel in his appearance. He's appeared in sideshows and circuses, and has become a fairly well known actor (in particular circles) over time. He's a lot more well adjusted and even a bit goofy, enjoying the juxtaposition between his looks and his name. He loves to "borrow" outfits from the various productions he's been in, and also has a passion for fairy kei.
