I remember seeing photos shared from a Russian forum about the Darkhorn well before I was into BJDs, and I always thought it'd be cool to have one one day. Fast forward to my first year in the hobby and they surfaced again, this time with lots of pretty resin colours too! He was the first "pet" bought for my crew.

Name story:

It was a random name suggested by my boyfriend (now fiance). It sounded like something out of Lord of the Rings and it stuck immediately.

Story universe: Otherworld (Clash)

Thorfax comes from a species of dragon where only the females have wings. Naturally curious from a young age about flight, Thorfax decided it would be fun to hitch a ride on board one of the many transport dragons employed within the Otherworld. Most of little adventures he went on were short and he was almost always back home just after dark. That is until one day when he accidentally hopped on board an international flight.

Thorfax then found himself horribly lost in a country he had no idea about, with no way of communicating with the various Ortherworldly people he came across. Hungry and homesick, he lost all hope of ever going home again. Upon hearing about a young, lost dragon wandering the streets, Valeriana took it upon herself to find Thorfax and take him in. Naturally she was the first person he'd been able to communicate with in days, and he grew incredibly attached to her. She was able to locate and contact his mother who was unsurprised, but relieved all the same. She gave Thorfax her blessings and said he'd be welcome to stay with his new friend and explore the world further if he wanted to.

As young as he was, little Thorfax decided he wanted to stay, knowing that he was safe in Valeriana's hands, and she welcomed him as a house mate. When he's not off exploring the world, he can be found curled up in front of the fire or in a patch of sunlight, happily dreaming of adventures to come.

He is particularly fond of being scratched behind the ears and along the back of his neck.
