Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Reason for choice:
    Quite a few years back, a good friend won a Volks Sweet Dream Lucas One-Off, and I fell madly in love with him. Kaelin came out a few years later and he looked just like her Lucas, and honestly never thought I'd be able to afford one, so he went on the "bucket list", which is slowly getting shorter. However, Ayanami wasn't as attached to him and so she sold him to me! Let me be honest here though. I wanted Kaelin. I did not want Thranduil. He just sort of HAPPENED.
    Best Points:
    His beautiful face and his long gorgeous ears.
    Worst Points:
    The right ear is a little loose, but that's about it.
    Ugh. I've been through the ringer with trying to figure out who this doll was, while simultaneously trying to not admit that he was Thranduil. Thranduil isn't a character that I've ever written, he's sometimes not even a character that I like, except when Lee Pace plays him, because that was golden and I will fight you. However, I recently tried making him into another character and he threw the biggest temper tantrum ever. So. Here we are.

Afterward, I bought him the SD13/SDGr "Petal de Rose" set, in hopes that he would wear it, but he hates it. He just wants to lie around in his pajamas all day apparently.

    So. Thranduil, for those who don't know, is an actual character from the Hobbit. He's the racist King of Eryn Lasgalen (Mirkwood). He doesn't like humans, dwarves, Noldorin elves, and a myriad of other things. He's just really... sort of grumpy. But, when Sauron is your next door neighbor and you have the spawn of Ungoliant (gigantic spider goddess) trying to break down your door, I suppose that could make anyone a little grumpy.
