I got his body from mandarake and his head through a trade with Shadeling Sanguine on DoA

Reason for choice:

I've wanted Yukinojo since he original came out, but he was too expensive and too hard to get. I eventually had the opportunity to cobble together a body and head for a very reasonable choice.

Best Points:

I love his expressive face and the SD16 body is probably one of the best bodies that Volks ever made... and aesthetically I just like the proportions so much more than the SDGou.

Worst Points:

He's about 18 years old and has yellowed somewhat... the color isn't acrid or unpleasant, but it can be limiting with what colors look good on him. No real complaints, though.

He's been modified around the mouth, brow, and bridge of the nose.

Toshiro was abandoned as a newborn in the bathroom of an upscale department store, with no clues whatsoever about his parentage. He was adopted by a really nice but slightly clueless older couple who doted on him endlessly. From a young age, he complained to his parents about the things that watched him from the windows, and sometimes they caught him having very animated conversations with what they assumed were imaginary friends. He didn't outgrow this, and seemed to only get stranger and stranger as he got older.

When he was in high school, a small dragon showed up on his windowsill and told him that he was there on his father's family's behalf to retrieve him to be trained. Apparently they hadn't known he existed because someone along the line had made a one night mistake... otherwise they never would have let some mundane couple adopt him. Toshiro wasn't interested in going and told him to kiss off... and while the dragon couldn't make him go, he also couldn't leave him unattended. So Toshiro got the benefit of a divine protector and some limited training.

As an adult, he holds down a normal-ish job where everyone thinks he's incredibly weird. But hey, millennials are weird, right? He also tries to help out the ghosts and supernatural creatures that live in his city - sometimes it goes well, sometimes it doesn't. Whenever he has a major encounter, he gets some kind of tattoo to commemorate the experience; it could be something as small as a name or as large as a portrait. The size, complexity, and placement are determined by his relationship with the creature. He is still spurning his blood family, though people show up sometimes to try to bring him "home."
