“bleach boy”, as his middle school bullies called him has come a long way. when he was young, he was super extroverted, happy, lively. kids didn’t like that. he was too feminine, had too much energy. he hung out with girls. the peak of the harassment took place in 7th grade. he bleached his hair blonde and was absolutely torn to shreds about it. they didn’t like boys with any hint of femininity, and the hair dye fiasco was the icing on the cake. he earned the nickname “bleach boy” which followed him till high school. honestly, he was happy they found a new nickname for him other than “f——-t”

the harassment stopped in freshman year, everyone forgot about him and moved on to other petty drama. during high school, he changed completely. the torment made him become depressed, anxious, and a complete closed off brick wall. he skipped school all the time, smoked and drank every night, and only felt happy when he was sleeping. he only spoke when spoken to, had no friends, no personality. the only people he interacted with all 4 years was limited to his parents, his dealer, and the occasional forced group project members.

the day of his graduation was the day he thought he wouldn’t see. he will never forget the car ride home, diploma in hand. his parents were celebrating in the front seats, already planning his grad party. he would nod along to whatever they said, but in his head it was like the trash bin with all those awful memories was finally emptied. it was over. he was never going to hear their awful words, or study their ugly, turned up faces again.

in college, he meets a lanky, tired looking boy named dante who changes his life. they're twin flames, and their lives mirror each other's but also are vastly different. they are working on forever together, but there are many mental obstacles between them and the goal.
