Was in stock at DDE, and Doll Leaves seemed to make very good quality dolls for the price

Tybalt is used to living in the lap of luxury. He usually wears expensive clothing, but nothing too flashy; he prefers simple and delicate styles.

He almost always wears a deep red, as it is the signature color of his family (and also his favorite). Otherwise he sticks to neutral tones, though he does have a secret love of pastel (you probably won’t see him wearing anything bubblegum pink in public). He always wears gold jewelry, no silver.

He keeps his hair very long, as it’s a symbol of pride in his native culture. He styles it in plenty of ways, the most common being a long braid down his back.

Tybalt wears both masculine and feminine clothing; He used to hate dresses and feeling too feminine due to gender dysphoria and being forced to act as a “lady”, but he gradually learned to like feminine clothes when they’re on his own terms.

He likes the look of heels but rarely wears them on account of his height (he’s already much taller than most of the population of his city. Unfortunately this is not reflected in his doll form because no one makes female dolls that are taller than their respective male ones in 1/4 scale,,,)

Name story:

He is a character from a story of mine where a bunch of classic literature characters are all put in a DND esque fantasy world, so he’s loosely based on the character from Romeo and Juliet (and I mean loosely lol)

I’ll try to keep this short…

Tybalt is the only child of one of the richest men in his country, Ferdinand Capulet. He is not a human; he’s a Sulla, a fantasy race of my own creation (basically if elves were like…selectively bred to be really good at living in cold environments). Their main features are that they’re exceptionally tall (not inhumanly so, but usually tall enough in the modern world everyone would ask if they play basketball), have body hair that’s more like fur (including some on their ears), and have the ability to “purr” and make other animal like sounds due to their throat anatomy. They’re a fairly rare folk outside of their homeland, and are often seen as exceptionally beautiful beings, leading to a curious fascination. Unfortunately for some Sulla this ends up becoming their only feature in the eyes of the general public. Tybalt gets his traits from his mom (technically there’s no such thing as a half Sulla due to some magic thing that happened ages ago, don’t worry it’s bullshit fantasy genetics) who raised him until he was 8 in the Sullas’ homeland, when a militia group attacked them and they were separated. He was then “saved” by his father and brought to his new life.

His relationship with his father is terrible. Archduke Capulet is incredibly manipulative and unfortunately Tybalt was subjected to a whole lot of abuse as a child, mostly through grooming tactics. He didn’t have any close friends as a kid, his closest companion being his younger cousin Juliet, who he is incredibly protective over. She didn’t exactly have a strong parental role model so he took a huge part in raising her as he wanted her to be the first in the family not to suffer from the generational abuse cycle in the family.

He’s gone by many names and titles in his life. As a young child he was Ilya, as in the tradition of Sulla one chooses an adult name around the ages of 16-25. Then when he moved in with his father he didn’t want him to be called the Sulla name, so he was renamed Rosaline, which was used in junction with Tybalt during his youth. He was allowed to present as male by his family mostly due to the fact that there was no male heir in the direct bloodline, but he still had to switch between the two identities a lot as his father decided to explain this to the general public as them being twins. He prefers Tybalt, of course, though his closest friends will call him Ilya sometimes.

Tybalt is a bit of an emotional mess; He’s very closed off and can sometimes seem stern and cold, but really he’s a complete softie and will short circuit at the slightest bit of affection. He eventually enters a relationship with Benvolio and Mercutio (dolls planned for them eventually) and learns to let loose a little bit.

Other info:
-he’s an incredibly skilled swordsman, and often combines this skill with magic use
-he has a huge fondness for animals, ESPECIALLY cats. He has a few, including a Familiar named Mama (he found her abandoned with newborn kittens and took them all in)
-he’s not good with kids, but for some reason they love him. They make him anxious because he worries he’ll mess them up somehow
-his gender identity is a complete mystery to everyone including himself
-he is unusually skinny for a Sulla, who are usually fairly sturdy. despite this he is quite strong, though most of it comes from technique rather than pure muscle (he does have pretty strong thighs and abs though.)
