  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     When I was living in Japan in 2005, I went to Nagoya Dolpa (my home city) and fell in love with SwD Rengemaru! I decided to try to get him in the after event at our local Sumika and dutifully lined up at 5am because they said it would be first-come first served. We were 4th in line! It seemed a guarantee! When by the time the store opened at 11, they decided to do it by lottery because there were so many people... and despite waiting like 6 hours, I got a terrible lottery number and left empty handed. I was crushed! I have literally been salty over this for 15 years. So I decided that if an affordable SwD Rengemaru came up, that sucker was MINE.

    He's old and he's definitely not as good a poser as a newer doll. He's also yellowed a bit, though he looks great for his age. Which is old. He is old enough to drive.

    When we were waiting in line for the Nagoya afterevent, we foolishly brought no snacks. Only water. The girl behind us in line was super sweet, and even though she spoke no English and I was really shy about my Japanese, she shared her umeboshi with us. I don't like umeboshi, but it still stands out as one of the nicest things. :)
