I loved Charly's grumpy little face and it fit Vendetta too well.

Vendetta is from an interactive fiction called Fallen Hero. It's about a former hero returning to their old stomping grounds seven years after their supposed death to become the newest supervillain.

I loved the first two books a lot and wanted to make my Sidestep into a doll hence Ven, lol.

Vendetta is a former vigilante turned what ne hopes looks like a sad has-been, working in tech repair, begrudgingly attempting therapy at nir friend's request, and visiting dog parks to lighten nir depressive moods when therapy fails. It's a whatever life, but why complain when you're alive?

In actuality, Vendetta is a telepathic supervillain, leading what could only count as a triple life given how many identities ne has up at this point. When ne isn't stealing art like a classic thief or just straight money from the rich and the criminal, Ven is just trying to keep nir old hero friends from figuring out what ne is doing now.
