Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Reason for choice:
    I wanted a mature 1/4 sculpt that wasn't too buff and posed well. I finally found this guy who was pretty decently priced. He's been a great first doll.
    Best Points:
    Jointing, posing, feel, resin, body sculpt (I almost hate covering it up when dressing him), body looks a bit lanky without looking ill, his sad, Wistful expression, and his looong legs
    Worst Points:
    I wish there was a little more detail in the foot sculpts and that the ankles had a more attractive joint/ definition.

    Lip face-up. I generally like his faceup and while I eventually want to redo his faceup, I am glad I got the basic AkagiDoll faceup. That way he has a faceup until I get around to (re)doing his. I just don't like how his lips were made up. I can't wait to make them bit less pouty (though the pout certainly goes along with his mopey face.

    I love his long legs, but some pants that I buy turn into capris on him. Which is fine when tucked into boots.

    I wish he looked a smidgen older/more mature, but I've come to adore and embrace his cute looks.

  • Name story:
    I am not sold on this name, but I wanted something monsyllabilic, catchy, fanciful, and soft. Wren suits his kind of peaky appearance and is suitable across many times/genres as I try to figure out his story. Also, I'm very partial to bird people.

    He seems to be very fond of the Dream Valley Tina I brought home, so I guess he has a fox companion or a fox familiar now.

    And he asked for another friend, so I guess I'll be getting another 1/4... now to figure out which dolls would look good with him, good as in they look like they belong in the same universe.
