Reason for choice:

The first time I saw Rex I knew he suited my long time writing partner's OC Spider, and so I knew I had to add him to the collection of freaks living under this roof.

Best Points:

I am completely in love with his moody face.

Spider was a powerful warlord during the dark days. Feared by the elves, he was often at war with them over territory and moral issues when it came to the lives of human mortals. Strangely enough, unlike the elves, the Niborian have never taken issue with Spider's practices or ways of life. Spider and the lady Seraphim are long time friends from their youth, and often allied during border disputes with other races. When the fall of Nibor came at the hands of Doctor John McAndrews, it was Spider and his legion of Cruor who came to collect and defend the Queen and her bloodline.

After the fall of the veil that had once hidden the non human from the modern world, Spider was quick to adapt. He set up The Suites in New Orleans, and maintains the nightclub and pleasure house as his front for even seedier business. Now the Boss of the Underground world of Non humans, he is a force to recon with on any night. And though Seraphim and he do not always agree, Spider still keeps her close and listens to her council with an open mind and affection.

Often seen in his company is a young rogue elf by the name of Riordan Duvainor. Riordan is an elf of many talents and traits useful to the Boss of the underground, and displays many traits Spider had not often seen in other elves. Enjoying the cunning and crafty elf, Spider likes keeping him close for many reasons.

Spider is cunning and cruel most of the time, though he has been known to be kind to those he is fond of. He enjoys playing games, and relishes manipulating others into doing his bidding. Nothing he gives or offers comes without a price, and normally this price is quite high.
