Reason for choice:

I'd wanted to get into resin dolls but was hesitant. Then I saw this boy, with his sweet and mischievous face and big eyes and he stole my heart!

Best Points:

He's adorable! I love his big eyes and that cute little Cupid's bow mouth.

Worst Points:

He's not the best at posing. With new string and some sueding he's not bad, but he still has a bit of trouble staying standing. Not really an issue for me, but probably is for others.

Zane does NOT care! As long as his are comfy and he can wear his lab coat, he's happy. If left to his own devices, he'll most likely pick green pants, green shoes, and either his brown turtleneck or a superhero tee... And of course his lab coat.
He can't see more than a foot in front of him without his glasses, and his hair... well, we just don't discuss that.

Name story:

At the time I got him, I was watching the TV show 'Eureka', which has a character named Zane who's a bit crazy, also my favorite, so it just sort of fit. As for Alexander and Lee, I can't even recall, it just happened.

Zane is not your typical little boy. He's a "serious scientist", and rather good at it. He's extremely intelligent, which gives his not so intelligent older brother, Quinn, a lot of headaches!

Zane was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease), which was discovered when he broke his leg while trying to learn to walk. If heavily aided, he can walk very short distances, but he's broken several bones from falls and/or trying to do things he's shouldn't be doing without help (like climbing kitchen counters or trying to grappling hook his way onto the roof). Because of this, he needs to be in his wheelchair almost always.

Zane has had a tough life, but he doesn't realize that. He's only really ever known his older brother as his caretaker, since their mother worked long hours before tragically dying when he was only 3, and he never knew his father because the man left when he was a baby. He's been in a wheelchair since he was big enough for one, and before that was either sitting or lying down due to his health issues. He's also legally blind without his glasses.

But that's ok, because not only is it all he's ever known, but he had his brother! In his eyes, he can do no wrong ("even though I'm WAY smarter!"), and is the BEST big brother in the world ("and he's mine!!"). He also has the other people in the boarding house he lives in who all adore him, he's even their band's mascot! He's also home schooled, with the band's manager also being his teacher.... though really, he mostly just learns on his own.

Zane is a very happy-go-lucky kid. He's pretty excitable and always up to something - whether that be grappling hooking his way around the house, creating a small robot army, or once again having to find his escaped pet octopus, Sam.

When not getting into trouble, Zane greatly enjoys reading, devouring scientific manuals in a couple days at a time. He all but worships Neil deGrasse Tyson and watches everything he does, often multiple times. When not doing any of that, he's a big fan of superheroes, especially Batman, and watches all the movies over and over.
