* How was the communication?

OUTSTANDING. I really want to stress this. I had a number of communications with KOKO at Doll-Leaves. Pleasant, thorough, and very professional -- as well as obviously excited about the dolls!

* How easy was it to pay?

Extremely

* How long did it take to ship?

The head shipped out on 8/3 and arrived at my home on 8/8.
There had been a packing error that omitted the wig from the first shipment, but that was very graciously and easily handled. The wig shipped out the very next day and after being examined by Customs (you scary doll wig, you!) arrived here today, 8/14.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

Absolutely. The doll head is beautifully made, nice and solid, and very well finished. The faceup is delicate and excellent (I'm not a fan of sequins, but they were part of the special faceup and actually add to the overall effect). The eyes are really terrific - and that green wig is an exercise in awesome!

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?

Absolutely.

* Were you satisfied with the product?

Delighted. I'll be looking forward to more of their big boys and girls!

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

I was very nervous when I realized the wig hadn't made the trip home with the head, having heard horror stories about other companies - but it was an absolute non-issue and taken care of immediately. THIS is good customer service!

Fantastic and prompt - I've contacted directly Doll Leaves to ask for some infos, and they've answered in 24 hours. very kind and clear.
I've then decided to order trough ATWD - and with them communication is always nice.

Shipped within a couple of weeks

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
The quality is ok for the doll ^_^
I'm afraid that, for the price, the quality of the outfit, jewelry and wig should have some kind of improvement in the future.

quite so.
the doll itself is even better. not so the wig and the faceup

If they'll do some nice SD doll, why not?

I don't know ^^ maybe, if I really love the item... but the prices are tempting and I'd like to get new items

I put him on a layaway on December 31st

* How was the communication?
Very good, fast and patient. {I was asking a lot of questions}

* How easy was it to pay?
It was really easy. :3

* How long did it take to ship?
He was on layaway until my father decided we should pay all of the remaining balance on January 13th. He was shipped the following week and arrived Saturday of the same week in the Philippines. So about 3-4 days then I waited 3 {not including Sunday} for the EMS people to give me their notice card to fetch him.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
I really love the quality~ It was so smooth and solid. He arrived w/ no seams!

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes, though he's more handsome in real life.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes but they forgot to include the wig that I ordered.

Just e-mailed them today. Will update when I hear from them.
Edit: They replied to me asap and sent my wig a week or so after in a very well secured box that it looks like something else is inside. ^_^;

Maybe if it's a limited edition that I really want to buy and the company doesn't sell it anymore, I would.

He shipped Feb. 20, 2011. The main reason for the extra wait time was because my order was placed right before the Chinese New Year holiday and they were off for about 10 days.

Yes! He was seamless and beautiful.

I started my layaway with Heartstring Serenade on April 26th, 2011

* How was the communication?
Awesome. Any time I had a question or contacted them to get an invoice early they got back to me in under 24hours

* How easy was it to pay?
Very. And I didn't have a paypal account so I used the "pay as guest" option and it was still smooth sailing all the way.

* How long did it take to ship?
Once I made the last payment and paid the shipping, they shipped my dolls out the next day and they got here in 2 days. Shipped the 6th, arrived the 8th

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Definitely. The resin is smooth and I love the color of their normal skin dolls. The detail on the bodies is wonderful, especially the torso. Doll Leaves boys have very attractive tummies.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
They looked even better in person, which I think is saying a lot because the sales pics for their 60cm dolls are gorgeous.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Very. Every time I look at my boys I fall even more hopelessly in love with them.

Definitely. I had nothing but good experiences.

Probably. They seem to have pretty sturdy bodies. I prefer getting things new, but if a doll I wanted by them was discontinued then I'd have no qualms about scouring the Marketplace for it.

It was good

It was confusing but I guess easy. I did not like that I had to pay for the item and then wait a long time til I could pay for shipping.

About a month

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
No. The whites were way too small and so they do not fit into my doll properly. The style is not very nice in person.

Not at all. The eyes in the sales photos are lovely and nicely blended blue... These are aweful. Grey. And the design is clunky.

They said it would ship within 7 working days, but it shipped February 6th.
(not sure how much of a delay was because of the new year in late January)
And it arrived within a week very safely with EMS shipping

I think it was a month and a half or so before the order she was in made it to the dealer I went through. After that it took about a week to get shipped out from there and just three days to get here

My god, I feel like I'm stealing from them. She's worth so much more than I payed for her! The resin feels wonderful, she poses perfectly, and her sculpting is just gorgeous.
